Onimpic Games 2024

During the Olympic year, we will hold the "Kunisaki Onimpic Games 2024" to spread the word about Kunisaki's oni culture and make it more popular.

Oninpic creates excitement unique to the Olympic year at local tournaments held in Bungotakada City and Kunisaki City, and also holds global competitions in which participants can participate via the Internet in order to disseminate Kunisaki's demon culture to the world. This is an initiative.
In Japan, people with superior skills have long been called "～～oni" At Oninpic, we hold various competitions to determine the "～～oni"
We will be recruiting entries by dividing them into categories (A: Sports, B: Culture/Craftsmanship, C: Other/Non-Genre) to create excitement unique to the Olympic year. We will be working on various initiatives such as creating Oninpic medals, inviting guests to the medal ceremony, etc., and receiving messages to enliven the tournament.

Onimpic is an event created by everyone. We are recruiting for competition events, so please fill out the application form below and submit it by email or in person to the Rokugo Manzan Japan Heritage Promotion Council (Bungotakada City Madama Government Building/Kunisaki City History Experience Learning Center) please.

・Basically, the applicant will be responsible for running the tournament.
The council will provide commemorative items such as medals and lend promotional materials such as flags.
・Please make sure that at least the citizens of Bungotakada City and Kunisaki City can participate.
For example, if there are multiple organizations for the same sport in both cities, the review process will proceed smoothly if you discuss the matter in advance and have a representative apply.
・If possible, please hold the competition within the fiscal year (March). However, this does not apply if the nature of the competition requires it to be held between April and June, or if it is postponed due to unforeseen circumstances.
・When holding the event, please take all possible precautions to prevent accidents and prevent infectious diseases.

As part of the Onimpics 2024 competition, we will be soliciting medal and emblem designs from the public.
The design that wins the grand prize will become the official medal and emblem of onimpics 2024, and will be used at the venue, etc., to enliven the Onimpics competition.

The person whose design is adopted will receive one Onimpic medal.
