Motomiya Hachiman Shrine is one of the shrines of the Usa Shrine complex recommended in Tashibunosho and is known as a shrine that has been watching the development of Tashibunosho. The large ema decorated in the hall of worship is a representation of "river recommendation" that collected the mikoshi of Tashibuho Hachimansha that was divided into three and floated them on the Yoroigafuchi, causing the wrath of the deity in the form of torrential rain. It is the ultimate method of rain that was given to the Kunisaki Peninsula with insufficient rainfall. It is believed that, according to the memories of the river recommendation in Showa 2, it was the oni of Iwawakiji Temple who ordered the collection of the shrine's mikoshi. Other than the Shujooni-e, oni often led the villagers to happiness.
