This is the way of Tennenji Temple looking at the virtues since the Yoro Era. Rokugo Manzan has a history of 1300 years, that was started in Yoro 2 (718). The mountains of Kunisaki have long been the training location for monks, and the mountains of Tennenji Temple was the hardest one among them. Miura Umezono, one of Bungo Mikazu, visited Tennenji Temple and thought of the history of eternity, he expressed pilgrimage of Mt. Mine as "Tennen Road." The Mumyo Bridge over the ridge that looks small when seen from the bottom seems to be telling the severity of training of Rokugo Manzan.
